Do we still remember?
Do we still remember that day? That day… September 11, 2001. I’m sure you remember where you were, what you were doing and who you were with. Do we really remember the day though?

It used to be recommended to take that day off of work to grieve and remember. The day, no matter where you were was silent. There were signs on peoples cars to remind us that we will never forget. There was a time when you could not turn on the television and not see the video of the planes crashing into the towers.
Tomorrow there will be broadcasts and stories of the tragic day to show us what we can not forget. That is certain. You will not see the video being aired of the crashes though. At least not on too many networks. Its as if they are too painful to watch so they hide them from us. How do we remember the pain if we don’t feel it? I think they should show video throughout the year to remind us of the terror that we felt. To remind us of the loved ones we worried about and the ones that we lost. To remind us of how important it is to never forget.
Who could ever forget the braveness shown on Flight 93? Those people saved countless lives and gave theirs
in order to do so. That’s heroic. That is the stuff legends are made of. Yet, for some reason there is only a semi-permanent memorial for them which is endanger of being shut down. How could that even be possible? Seriously?
We all remember in our own ways I suppose. Some choose to sit in silence and think about that day while others choose to talk about it. It doesn’t matter how you choose to remember, as long as you do.
Thank you to every single person that is fighting for our Freedom and way of life wherever you may be. Thank you to every single first responder that came to the rescue on that day. We appreciate all of you!
Reghan is trying to walk
For the past few weeks Reghan has been trying to walk. She has been doing great with little assistance. She has been standing up and letting go of everything and balancing herself for a good 10 seconds at times.
Heres a video of her walking with her walker.
When did your children start walking? On their own?
No prom for you! Back to English class.
What in the hell is wrong with people? Seriously? So this young girl in Houston, Texas has a prom coming up. From what I understand Prom is a HUGE deal to young females. I would think that because this is the only time you have a prom you would follow the rules and have a great time. No, I am wrong. Meet Miss Marche Taylor. She decided to goto her prom and violate the posted dress code. Then when denied entrance she made a scene and was led away in handcuffs. I wonder if Lil Kim is her role model?
Wheres mom? Wheres dad? Anyone in charge of this 17 year old? It seems not. I would whip my daughters ass if she tried to leave the house looking that way. When interviewed she came across as a moron. Her grammar was terrible. She was speaking ebonics or something of the like. You should not be allowed on television if you can not speak properly to at least some degree.
HOUSTON –
“I actually like the dress. Everybody else likes my dress,” Taylor said.
Madison High’s prom took place at the Sugar Land Marriott. But Taylor only got as far as the lobby. When she tried to enter the ballroom, an official stopped her.
She was told her dress violated a school dress code.
“She shook her head, she was like you are not getting into this prom,” said Taylor. “We were arguing back and forth because I wanted to know why I can’t get into my prom.”
Madison High School Principal Aubrey Todd said the dress was inappropriate and violated the rules.
“It was revealing in such nature it was not appropriate for the prom,” Todd said.
And while she regrets how things turned out, Marche Taylor thinks she had little choice.
“They didn’t give me any options, but to go to jail or go home,” she said.
Maybe she should have skipped the prom and taken some extra courses instead? I just dont get how this is news worthy? Do people really feel bad for her? They didnt give her any options? Bullshit. They should have hauled her ass home and fined the parents for indecent exposure. If they could even find them.
